Caprese Pesto Baked Chicken
Hi guys!
This week, I’m bringing you an All Purpose Seasoning recipe; Caprese Pesto Baked Chicken. I love pesto and the AP seasoning just brings an extra depth of flavor!
You’ll also find most of my recipes are made for one person Serving Sizes.
If you make it, post it below! I also want to hear your thoughts! 💝
Caprese Pesto Baked Chicken
Ready in 30 minutes
Serves 1 person
Tips: *The chicken doesn’t have to be covered in aluminum foil. I think it makes for a juicier chicken breast coming out of the oven.
Ingredients
1 Chicken Breast, raw
2 Tablespoon pre-made basil pesto (I like to slather a lot of pesto on)
1 Roma tomato, sliced
3-4 slices of mozzarella cheese
1 Tablespoon Flavor Imperium’s All Purpose Seasoning
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 400F
Wash the chicken breast and slice the chicken across the shortest width to make spots for your sliced mozzarella and sliced tomatoes.
Season the chicken. Take the all purpose seasoning and rub down the entire chicken breast with it.
Fill in the slices, Alternate mozzarella slices and tomato slices.
Brush on the pesto! Take the pesto and cover everything. The chicken breast, the mozzarella, the tomato, your counter, the walls.. You know, really get it everywhere.
Bake the chicken! Put your chicken on a baking sheet and cover it with aluminum. Bake until the chicken is cooked all of the way through. Typically 22-27 minutes
*I like to have more of a green veggie side with my chicken breast when I make this. I typically add asparagus, potatoes, cooked carrots, or a side salad too.
